    Overview

Fidelity's internal infrastructure teams relied on manual, ticket-driven processes to provision servers. The Enterprise Server Provisioning Application aimed to turn a weeks-long process into a self-service experience.

    The Challenge

Provisioning touched dozens of teams, approval chains, and compliance requirements. The design had to encode complex business rules into an interface that non-technical requesters could use — while giving infrastructure teams full visibility and control.

    The Approach

    01

    Journey Mapping

Mapped the full provisioning journey across teams and systems, exposing bottlenecks and redundant approval steps that could be automated.

    02

    UX/UI Design Leadership

Led the end-to-end UX and UI design, translating complex infrastructure workflows into clear, guided self-service flows.

    03

    MVP Development

Scoped and delivered an MVP that proved the self-service model, paving the way for broader enterprise adoption.
